Your Account

Your Greenwood account is an ERC-4337 smart account: a programmable onchain account that belongs to you, secured by a passkey instead of a seed phrase.

It is not a dollar wallet. It is an account. It holds dollars today because dollars are what an account is for, but the account itself is asset-agnostic, designed to hold tokenized equities and yield positions alongside them, together under one key.

Passkeys instead of seed phrases#

When you join Greenwood, your device creates a passkey using its secure hardware and biometrics. That passkey is the only thing that can authorize movement of your assets. There is no seed phrase to write down, screenshot, or lose. There is no password to reuse. Greenwood never sees your key material, because it never leaves your device's secure enclave.

The chain supports passkey signatures natively at the protocol level (the RIP-7212 precompile), which makes signing with Face ID or a fingerprint cheap and fast. This is the same cryptography that secures your bank app login, applied to the account itself.

Practical tip: add a passkey from a second device as soon as you join. It takes a minute, and it means losing your phone never means losing access.

What self-custody means in practice#

• You approve every transaction with your device. Greenwood cannot move your assets.
• Greenwood cannot freeze your account or block a withdrawal to your own wallet.
• Your balance is visible onchain. Any block explorer will confirm what your app shows.

Stockback Card#

The card is issued by Wasabi, a licensed issuer, and Wasabi can suspend it under its own terms. Your funds sit in your own account. We can't freeze them, and neither can they.

Gas and fees#

Everyday actions are gas-sponsored. Sending, receiving, depositing to Earn, and card operations do not require you to hold a gas token or think about network fees.

Sending and receiving#

Your account has a standard address. You can receive USDG from any wallet or exchange that supports the chain, and send to any address. Transfers settle in about 100 ms and appear in your activity feed with the block number and transaction hash.
